That’s why our PAC operates on an equal-share model, just $1 a day from each member, ensuring that every voice carries the same weight.

Meet the Founder

Brian Dahle is a lifelong Californian, small business owner, and former state senator who has spent his career fighting for lower taxes, public safety, and a stronger economy. He has seen firsthand how Sacramento’s policies are driving up the cost of living, forcing families and businesses out of the state, and making it harder for everyday people to get ahead.

In 2022, Brian ran for Governor, traveling across California and meeting thousands of hardworking people from every walk of life. He listened to their struggles, families barely making ends meet, small business owners buried in red tape, and communities feeling abandoned by their leaders. This experience inspired him to take action beyond elected office and create Only1 CA, The People’s PAC, a movement to give every Californian a seat at the table and a voice in shaping the future of our state.

A longtime advocate for a better business climate, Brian was the California Chamber of Commerce’s top-rated senator for pro-business votes in 2021 and holds a 100% rating from the National Federation of Independent Business. As Assembly Republican Leader, he fought against reckless spending and harmful regulations that stifle job growth. In the Senate, he worked across party lines to modernize outdated environmental laws, pass landmark legislation on wildfire prevention, expand broadband access in underserved communities, protect digital privacy, and lower healthcare costs.

Before his time in the Legislature, Brian served four terms on the Lassen County Board of Supervisors, where he left the county debt-free with fully funded pensions, a rare achievement in California politics.

Despite his years in office, Brian has never been a career politician. He’s a farmer, a small business owner, and a husband and father. He and his wife, Senator Megan Dahle, continue to run their family farm and seed business in Bieber while raising their three children. Chase, Reagan, and Roslyn.

Brian founded Only1 CA because he knows real change won’t come from the political insiders in Sacramento, it will come from the people of California standing together. Through this PAC, he is building the largest grassroots force in the state to elect common-sense leaders, hold politicians accountable, and restore prosperity to California.
